Greg Lipper Presents D.C. Bar CLE on Defending Reputations and Speech

Earlier this week, partner Greg Lipper joined two other media lawyers to present a CLE webinar, sponsored by the District of Columbia Bar, on Defending Reputations and Speech in the Age of Social Media. The course covered a range of procedural and substantive issues affecting online defamation cases, including SLAPP suits, anonymous posts, and the future of the New York Times v. Sullivan actual-malice standard.

Greg’s practice includes media law and First Amendment matters, including prepublication review, newsgathering advice, anti-SLAPP litigation, and freedom-of-information requests and lawsuits.
