Susan Simpson has litigated a diverse range of civil and criminal matters, with a focus on white-collar criminal defense and defense of regulatory enforcement actions. She also advises on corporate compliance strategies, implementation of compliance programs, and monitoring adherence to corporate compliance policies. Her trial experience includes a wide range of commercial litigation matters, including the successful representation of clients in actions for breach of contract, commercial torts, defamation, civil conspiracy, fraud, and infringement of intellectual property, as well representing clients in appeals before state and federal courts.

Susan also hosts the Proof podcast, a new investigative true crime podcast with the producers of Evil Lives Here, and previously co-hosted the Undisclosed podcast, which features in-depth investigations of wrongful convictions and other criminal justice matters.

Before joining Clinton & Peed, Susan worked as a Special Assistant U.S. Attorney and at a small criminal and civil litigation firm in the District of Columbia.
