Alec Rosenberg Joins the Partnership at Clinton & Peed

We are thrilled to welcome Alec Rosenberg as a partner, effective April 1, 2019.  Alec, Tim, and Greg have known each other since their days as litigation associates in Covington & Burling's Washington, DC office, when Alec served as Tim’s senior "associate mentor."  We have kept in touch with Alec, and have worked with him in various capacities, since then, including during his time as a partner in the Intellectual Property practice of Arent Fox (Washington, DC).  While there, Alec advised clients of all types in connection with the full suite of intellectual property matters and served in "outside general counsel" capacity to multiple start-ups and growth companies, including Tuft & Needle, a pioneering e-commerce consumer products company (now part of SertaSimmons Bedding Co.).

In 2015, Alec left Arent Fox to serve on the Management Team and as General Counsel (and later Chief Legal Officer) of Tuft & Needle, where he counseled that organization through meteoric growth in an exceptionally competitive and dynamic industry.  After leaving Tuft & Needle, Alec built a solo practice counseling entrepreneurs, start-ups, and more mature businesses across a wide range of disciplines.

We are excited to bring Alec on board, and we look forward to strengthening and expanding our capabilities in the many areas in which he has deep experience, particularly with regard to intellectual property and the range of non-dispute-related services we provide to businesses.
