Tim Clinton Selected for 2017 Washington, DC Super Lawyers

Washington DC SuperLawyers Magazine has selected founding partner Tim Clinton its list of "SuperLawyers" for 2017. Mr. Clinton was first selected to this list in 2016; before that, he and partner Matt Peed were selected for inclusion in the list of "Rising Stars" for 2014 and 2015.

According to SuperLawyers, the selection of Tim for inclusion in the publication was the culmination of a “patented multiphase selection process” that combines “peer nominations and evaluations [with] third party research” based on “12 indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement”:

This selection is the result of ‘peer nominations and evaluations [with] third party research’ based on ’12 indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement.'
The objective is to create a credible, comprehensive and diverse listing of outstanding attorneys that can be used as a resource for attorneys and consumers searching for legal counsel. Since Super Lawyers is intended to be used as an aid in selecting a lawyer, we limit the lawyer ratings to those who can be hired and retained by the public, i.e., lawyers in private practice and Legal Aid attorneys. The Super Lawyers patented selection process involves three basic steps: creation of the candidate pool; evaluation of candidates by the research department; and peer evaluation by practice area. The selection process for the Rising Stars list is the same as the Super Lawyers selection process, with one exception: to be eligible for inclusion in Rising Stars, a candidate must be either 40 years old or younger or in practice for 10 years or less.

In light of Clinton Brook & Peed’s emphasis on collaboration, awards like this reflect the hard work and dedication of the entire firm.
